This contract protects store owners or building owners against breakage of Plate Glass. It is usually written on a full coverage or a 50-50 basis; the latter policy will ask the policyholder to pay only half the regular premium and if there are no losses, this remains the premium; in case of a loss, the other half is due at the time of settlement.
